Dr. Green has secured substantial external funding to support educational equity and improve outcomes for vulnerable student populations. As Project Director or Co-Director for several multimillion-dollar grants, she has led three $1.25 million federally-funded projects including Project HEAL, focused on developing Highly Qualified Education Advocacy Leaders, and Project TLC, which fosters positive outcomes for students with disabilities in foster care and the CARES Project, which aims to prepare culturally affirming and responsive education specialists to improve outcomes for foster youth with disabilities. Dr. Green’s work also includes co-authoring a $1.5 million grant under the No Child Left Behind Act to prepare school psychologists and counselors as English-language acquisition consultants. Each of these projects reflects a deep commitment to addressing educational disparities and advocating for students from underrepresented and underserved backgrounds.
